How much does a design cost, and do credits expire?

One credit, one design #

Every mode costs the same 1 credit per generation. There is no premium mode that costs more per render and no cheaper draft mode that costs less, so a Sharpen and enlarge pass costs exactly what a full Restyle costs. A three-pass sequence, such as Declutter then Restyle then Sharpen and enlarge, costs three credits. Worth deciding the sequence before you start rather than iterating blindly.

What happens to unused credits #

Credits never expire. Buy once, credits never expire. This matters more than it sounds, because the common use case is bursty: someone redesigns one room over a weekend, then does not open the product again for eight months. A subscription bills through those eight months, and credits with an expiry date quietly delete themselves in the meantime.

What a real job costs #

The per-design figure is easy; the useful number is what a whole room takes. In practice almost nobody keeps the first generation. Two or three passes to pick from is the normal working rhythm, so budget a room at three or four credits rather than one. A multi-step sequence multiplies from there: clearing a furnished room, restyling the cleared version, then sharpening the keeper is three credits at minimum and realistically six or seven once you allow for picking between versions at each step. A whole listing of five rooms, done properly, lands closer to twenty credits than five. That is still a fraction of what a photographer or a staging job costs, but it is worth knowing before you buy the smallest pack and run out halfway through a property.

What a credit gets you #

Failed generations are refunded #

When a design is marked failed, the credit returns to your balance without you asking, and there is nothing to claim. A design that succeeds but that you dislike is a different case and is not refunded, which is why the free designs exist: they let you see real output on your own room before spending anything.

Refunds on the purchase itself #

Because each design carries a real AI generation cost, credit packs are non-refundable once the credits are added to your account. If you are just testing the workflow, start with the smallest pack.

Trying it first #

New accounts that sign up with Google receive three free designs to try the tool. After that, credits come in one-time packs starting at $9 for 20 designs. There is no subscription and credits do not expire. The free design is a full one: 4K, no watermark, and commercially usable. Nothing about it is a reduced version of what you would pay for, which is the only way a trial tells you anything useful.
