Privacy Policy

How AI Room Styler collects, protects, and uses your information.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Room Styler collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Account data (such as email and profile name).
  • Usage data (feature usage, pages visited, timestamps, device/browser metadata).
  • Session/security data (such as IP address and user agent).
  • Uploaded images and generated outputs.
  • Billing/transaction metadata (purchase IDs, payment status, credit activity).
  • Messages you submit through support or feedback forms.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service.
  • Process image generations and return outputs.
  • Manage credits, purchases, and account access.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and security issues.
  • Improve reliability and user experience.
  • Respond to support requests and service communications.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store full payment card numbers or CVV data in our application.

5. Image Handling and Retention

Uploaded images and generated outputs are used to provide the Service. By default, we retain these files for 30 days, then remove them from active systems. Backup copies are purged within an additional 30 days. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers needed to operate the Service. We use third-party AI processing services to generate image outputs from your uploads, and third-party analytics providers as described in Section 7.

7. Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the Service is used. This tool sets no advertising cookies and stores no identifier on your device. We record pages viewed and a small set of product events, such as when a design is generated or fails, when a credit prompt is shown or clicked, and when a checkout is started. These events record the feature and outcome involved. They do not include your email, account identifier, prompts, or images.

These statistics are processed on our behalf by Umami Software, Inc. Your IP address and user agent are transmitted to that provider and used to derive a short-lived, non-identifying visitor value. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service. You can block these requests using standard browser or extension controls without affecting your ability to use the Service.

8. Session Recording

With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity to replay how visitors move through the Service, so we can find the parts that confuse people. A recording captures pages visited, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement. We ask before any of this starts, and nothing is recorded unless you agree.

Recordings are stored by Microsoft, who acts as a recipient of this data and may use it in line with its own terms. We do not grant permission for advertising storage. Text you type into form fields is masked before it leaves your browser, and the rooms you upload and the designs we generate are masked so they do not appear in a recording.

Agreeing stores two cookies on your device, _clck and _clsk, which identify a returning visit and a single session. Your answer is remembered in your browser's local storage and we ask again after twelve months, or sooner if what we are asking about changes. Declining is remembered indefinitely and we will not ask again.

You can change your answer at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as agreeing. Turning it off stops future recording and removes the cookies above. It cannot retract recordings already made.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, including access controls and secure infrastructure practices. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting support. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests and generally respond within 30 days.

11. Account and Transaction Records

Some records (for example, transaction/accounting and fraud-prevention records) may be retained longer where needed for legal, tax, security, or compliance purposes.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates may be communicated by email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
