2026 pricing guide

How much does AI room design cost?
Most AI room design tools let you try a few designs free, then charge in one of two ways: a monthly subscription, typically $16 to $49 a month at the entry tier, or a credit pack you pay for once, from about $9. Prices checked October 2026.
AI Room Styler sells credit packs you pay for once: $9.99 for 20 designs, about $0.12 to $0.50 per design depending on the pack, with no subscription and credits that do not expire.
The three ways AI room design is priced
Free tiers and trials
Nearly every tool lets you try a few designs before paying, usually between one and five. Read what free covers: some free output is watermarked, some trials need a card and turn into a paid plan unless you cancel, and a few tools offer no free option at all. A free tier is for judging the quality on your own room, not for finishing a project.
Monthly subscriptions
The most common model. Entry tiers run from about $16 to $49 a month, and most of them cap how many designs you get, from a handful of photos to unlimited. A subscription is good value when you generate designs every week, and poor value for one room, because you keep paying after the room is decided.
Pay-once credit packs
A smaller group sells packs of credits you buy once, from about $9. One credit usually buys one design, though some tools charge several credits for a single render. Nothing renews, which suits a single project. Check whether the credits expire, because some packs run out after a few months.

Which pricing model is cheaper for you?
Count the designs before you compare prices. Trying one room in five styles is about five designs. Doing four rooms that way is about twenty. An agent staging three rooms in each of twenty listings a month needs sixty or more, every month.
At a handful of designs, a free tier or a small pack you pay for once is the cheapest route, because a subscription keeps charging after the room is decided. At dozens of designs a month, a monthly plan with a high or unlimited cap usually wins.
Paying once suits a single project or occasional use, because nothing renews between rooms. If you will generate designs every day, an unlimited monthly plan will cost less per design than any pack.
What changes the real price
Credits per design
A credit is not always a design. Some tools charge two credits per generation, and some charge more for higher resolution or extra features, so a pack that looks large can buy half as many designs as its headline suggests.
Watermarks and licences
A cheap tier is not cheap if its output carries a watermark or excludes commercial use. Agents and designers in particular should check which tier grants a licence for listings and client work, because it is sometimes two tiers above the entry price.
Expiry and resets
Monthly allowances usually reset each cycle, so unused designs are lost. Some one-time credits also expire, for example after 180 days. Work out how many designs you will actually use in that window.
Retries
You rarely keep the first result. Budget for three to five attempts per room, and compare tools on the cost of the fifth design rather than the first.
On AI Room Styler: downloads carry no watermark, including the free designs, and credits never expire.
AI room design cost questions
How much does AI room design from a photo cost?
Most tools let you try a few designs free, then charge either a monthly subscription, typically $16 to $49 a month at the entry tier, or a credit pack you pay for once, from about $9. Prices were checked in October 2026. Redesigning a room costs a one-time credit pack, starting at $9.99 for 20 designs, or about $0.12 to $0.50 per design depending on the pack.
Is there free AI room design?
Yes, as a trial. Free offers range from one credit to a free-forever tier with 40 credits, and some are watermarked or need a card. New accounts that sign up with Google receive three free designs to try the tool. After that, credits come in one-time packs starting at $9.99 for 20 designs. There is no subscription and credits do not expire.
Do I need a subscription for AI room design?
Not with every tool. Most charge monthly, but some sell credit packs you buy once. Not right now. Credits are sold as one-time packs instead: $9.99 for 20 designs, $29.99 for 180, or $99.99 for 800. There is nothing to cancel, and unused credits stay on your account.
Is a subscription or a credit pack cheaper?
It depends on how many designs you make. For one room tried in a few styles, a pack you pay for once usually costs less, because nothing renews. If you generate designs every day, an unlimited monthly plan wins. Paying once suits a single project or occasional use, because nothing renews between rooms. If you will generate designs every day, an unlimited monthly plan will cost less per design than any pack.
What does one design cost with AI Room Styler?
About $0.12 to $0.50 per design. One credit is one design. You buy credits in one-time packs, they land on your account immediately, and they do not expire. Buy another pack whenever you run low.
Are free AI room designs watermarked?
Often, but not always. Remodel AI and Collov watermark free output, for example. Downloads carry no watermark, including the free designs.
Is AI room design cheaper than hiring an interior designer?
Much cheaper per image, but it is not the same service. An AI tool shows your room in a new style within seconds. A designer measures, sources real pieces, and takes responsibility for the result. Many people use AI to settle on a direction first, then brief a designer or shop with a clearer idea of what they want.
How were these prices checked?
Rival prices were read from each vendor's own pricing page in October 2026, at the entry paid tier. Where a vendor hid its prices until sign-up, the table says so. Prices change often, so confirm on each vendor's site before you buy.
