What is AI Room Styler?
AI Room Styler is an AI interior design tool that redesigns your actual room from one photo. Most features keep the walls, windows and doors where they are, and each design takes about 30 seconds. Your first 3 designs are free with Google, no card needed. Downloads carry no watermark, including the free designs.
Can I redesign my room using just a photo?
Yes. Upload any clear photo of your room and AI Room Styler will generate photorealistic redesigns based on the style and feature you choose. No 3D modelling, no software installation, and no design experience required.
Will it keep my room as it is?
Yes. The walls, windows and doors, the ceiling height, the shape of the room and the camera angle stay as they are in your photo. It changes what you asked for and leaves the rest, so the result is your room with the change made, not a different room in that style. Restyle lets you choose how far it goes: Just restyle keeps every piece in its spot, Restyle and rearrange may move the furniture, and Redesign from scratch may also rework built-ins and add a window or door. If something you wanted kept still moves, Edit a detail fixes that one spot. For exact measurements or construction drawings, work with a professional designer.
What kind of photo should I upload?
A clear phone photo in daylight, taken from the doorway or a corner so most of the room is in frame. Avoid blur and very dark shots. The room does not need tidying first: Declutter clears the mess, or empties the room completely, before you restyle it.
Does it work for kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes. A kitchen keeps its sink, tap, cooker, hob and fridge on the same wall, a bathroom keeps its basin, toilet, bath and shower, and a laundry room keeps its washer and sink, while cabinets, counters, tiles and finishes change in place at the same size.
Can I turn a floor plan into a room?
Yes, with Sketch to render. Name the room as it is labelled on the plan and you get an eye-level photo from inside it, or ask for the whole floor and you get a 3D cutaway seen from above, every room furnished. Proportions are read from the drawing, not measured, so it is a picture of the plan rather than a scale render.
Is AI Room Styler free to use?
New accounts that sign up with Google receive three free designs to try the tool. After that, credits come in one-time packs starting at $9.99 for 20 designs. There is no subscription and credits do not expire.
Do you offer subscription plans?
Not right now. Credits are sold as one-time packs instead: $9.99 for 20 designs, $29.99 for 180, or $99.99 for 800. There is nothing to cancel, and unused credits stay on your account.
What types of rooms and spaces does it work with?
33 room types: every room in a home, from living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens to nurseries, basements, home gyms and walk-in closets; outdoor spaces like patios, balconies and outdoor dining areas; and commercial spaces like cafes, restaurants, shops, hotel rooms, receptions and offices. Redesigning the outside of a house is not supported yet.
Can AI virtually stage an empty room?
Yes. The Furnish empty room feature is built specifically for virtual staging. Upload a photo of an empty room and the AI furnishes it with appropriately scaled, style-matched pieces. Ideal for real estate listings without the cost of physical staging.
What design styles are supported?
46 styles are available including Modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, Industrial Loft, Contemporary, Coastal, Boho Chic, and Art Deco, across 12 design features. You can also write a custom prompt to describe exactly the look you want.
How do credits work?
One credit is one design. You buy credits in one-time packs, they land on your account immediately, and they do not expire. Buy another pack whenever you run low.
How fast are design outputs?
Most redesigns finish in under a minute. During peak times or with heavier jobs, processing can take a couple of minutes.
What happens to my photos?
They stay private to your account. Nothing you upload or design is published or shown to other users unless you turn on a share link, and you can turn it off again. You can delete a design conversation yourself, uploads and results are removed after 30 days, and you can request deletion of your whole account from the billing page. The privacy policy has the full terms.
Do you support commercial use?
Yes. The commercial-use license covers every design, including the free designs, and downloads carry no watermark. Use them for client work, property listings, and marketing materials.
Is there a refund policy?
Because each design carries a real AI generation cost, credit packs are non-refundable once the credits are added to your account. If you are just testing the workflow, start with the smallest pack.
Why do new accounts get three free designs only when signing up with Google?
Each AI design has a real cost to us. Without identity verification, free designs are easily abused through throwaway accounts. Google sign-in makes that kind of misuse significantly harder, which lets us offer three free designs without requiring a credit card.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments. We accept major credit and debit cards, and additional payment methods may appear at checkout based on your country and currency. We do not store your full card details.
Plan the room before you buy credits
